What to expect?

Receive support and mentorship from mothers who are using nurturing relationship skills.

In this circle we extend the learning and practice of authentic relationships to the vital role of mothering.
Within our relationship with our children, we can reclaim our own humanity.

Within our family and this circle, we can reaffirm the sacredness of our labor.

Within this circle, we are re-imagining community and re-shaping our society.

Together, we are dissolving nurturing the seeds of connection and empowerment.

Structure

The explorations will include facilitated reflections and monthly meetings as described below:

Monthly Theme: Each month will have a theme for us to explore.

Weekly reflections. Each week will have a theme-related prompt, and you will have an opportunity to share your weekly reflections. This way we learn about ourselves and from each other. This group work is hosted on the Mighty Network Platform.

Community Circle. We meet on-line (Zoom) on the first Saturday of the month. This way can see each other and connect in real time to continue to build community.

Investment

Group Circles require a minimum of 4 participants.

Ideally, there would be 1 Solidarity, 2 Full Cost, and 1 Pay-it-Forward. As always, I am open to discussion.

This minimum ensures fair compensation and sufficient members to practice with outside of class to reinforce your learning.

My intense gratitude to u for starting this circle that allows us to go back into ourselves and perhaps mend things that have been left unfinished , heal wounds that were left open and scarred so bad, In Arabic you are ” بلسم” , which means balm…perhaps loses some meaning in translation but ur existence has healed many

So back to the parenting mentorship, your help navigating feelings was very appropriate for each different situation and was always science based. It was not a response that was meant to make us feel better, it would always lead to self reflect n I think always turned out positively.
You are a wonderful facilitator for ones feelings with self, as well as facilitating what could have been a tough discussion between group members in the case where my anxiety about the group meeting was managed so so well.  I was telling  Y. that conversation could have easily gotten hostile in any another group.
